What tomorrow’s food will look like?
What does “eating better” mean?
In a world that keeps growing, food remains a key stone of our societies, their cultures and their survival. While the last thirty years have promoted models of overproduction and overconsumption, a new era of “eating better” is emerging and requiring new models of production and distribution of products that are good for people but also for the planet.
We choose to tackle
the following challenges:
FOOD EQUALITY
by reducing social inequalities in access to healthy and sustainable food
840Millions
people suffering from food insecurity in 2030 worldwide.
Source DESA
consume QUALITY FOOD
that has been produced with low greenhouse gas emissions by limiting natural resources
1/3 of greenhouse gas emissions
attributable to human activities are linked to food.
